I'm in Love!

No, it's not with a guy--or a girl. It's with The Discovery Channel's new nature series, "Life on Earth."

It's like traveling to Costa Rica or southern Africa without leaving home. But the show will go to every continent. It you haven't seen it, it's on seven of Discovery's cable channels simultaneously on Sundays for the next several weeks. Or, you can order it online.

Really. I'm captivated by the footage and the wonderful cinematography. I've traveled far just to see animals and this is as close as it gets. This is the best thing since The Travel Channel's Dhani Jones.

The filmmakers who shot this beautiful series underwent extreme cold, dangerous animals and other risks to bring this story to the little screen.

Fellow travel addict Ekua, over at Girl Unstoppable, lists "Life" among eight shows travelers can watch without feeling guilty. I'll stop with this one.
